Finance Manager (Country Controller)

Neste Components BV is looking for a Country Controller (Finance Manager) to join our team in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The company currently employs approximately 25 people with a group annual turnover over 11 billion EUR. We have several interesting ongoing development projects, including starting new businesses. The company is in a growth phase, especially in Renewable Diesel and Sustainable Aviation Fuel.
The company as well as the local Finance team are internationally diverse. This position reports to the Group Finance team located in the Netherlands and Finland and reports to the Country Finance Manager in the Netherlands. The position requires domestic travelling to various office locations.
Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are:

Country controller for the supply and trading companies

Coordinating GFS service development locally

Back-up for current Country Controllers team

Statutory audits
-
Local compliance assurance in integrations and growth

Local coordination of the closing
-
Managing and train the finance team
-
Make improvements into the systems and way of working and support further integrations
The best combination to success in this role:
-
Bachelor or Master’s degree or similar, preferably in Accounting or Finance

Understanding of IFRS and local GAAP
-
Understanding of the local statutory and regulatory requirements

Good understanding of Finance E2E processes & relevant technologies e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Hyperion Planning, SAP (FI-CO, SD, MM), SAP Business Objects

Database and reporting systems know-how is also seen as asset

Fluency in English is a must
