We are looking for a Distributor Manager Benelux and France to join our Renewable Road Transportation Europe Branded Sales team that is based in Hoofddorp. The role will report into the Head of Branded Sales Europe.

Neste MY Renewable Diesel sales are a strategic part of RRT’s strategy. The Distributor Manager Benelux and France role will be key to realize our growth ambitions through branded channel partner sales and to position Neste as a key provider of renewable solutions in the Benelux and France. You will work with our branded distributors to ensure they have the right capabilities and tools, agree on their targets and manage their performance. 
You are closely connected to internal stakeholders like Marketing, Pricing, Finance, Supply Chain Management and Public Affairs to ensure that our service levels meet or exceed the requirements of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Driving the growth of Neste’s Renewable Road Transportation activities in the Benelux and France

  • Building and managing the key relationships with Neste’s distributors in the Benelux and France

  • Agree on clearly defined KPIs  and manage sales and operational performance of the distributors

  • Identifying growth opportunities with the distributors and providing relevant support, capabilities and tools

  • Coordination between distributors and marketing of promotional and brand activities

  • Interfacing with Neste’s Marketing team to facilitate development and enhancement of customer offers

  • Interfacing between Neste’s distributors and with the rest of the organization to ensure effective issue resolution, and customer back office and technical support as needed

  • Contract management and yearly contract negotiations

  • Driving the dialogue around renewable fuels, sustainability, feedstocks etc. with distributors, end users, and other stakeholders, including speaking at conferences or participation in panel debates

  • Providing the wider Neste organization with local market knowledge

  • Ensuring overall compliance with contractual obligations, including brand, marketing and HSSEQ standards

 

 

 
The best combination of experience, skills and background are:

 

 

  • Master or Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

  • At least 5 years relevant commercial experience including managing a portfolio of distributors

  • Good B2B knowledge of either renewable fuels, biofuels or fossil fuel industries

  • Ability to articulate brand value and create customer loyalty

  • A track record of achieving profitable sales growth and relationship development is required

  • Versatility to function effectively in a remote, fast paced and ever changing business environment

  • Leads people inspirationally through the ability to communicate the value of better capabilities and working processes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, French and Dutch

  • Ability to find opportunities and work with other teams to create value

  • Sustainability and environmental initiative awareness

  • Analytical competency with business software (Salesforce, Google, MS office)

  • Safety first mindset, technical competence, adaptability and training proficiency

  • Availability to travel at least 40%

  • Understanding of relevant Benelux and French market drivers is a plus
