We are looking for you,


Technical Account Manager


to join our commercial team in Hoofddorp.


You will bring your technical expertise to support our commercial agenda for Renewable Products. In this job you will work closely with the EMEA commercial team and our customers with technical assurance related to product quality and specifications, you will be onboarding customers into the world of renewables, and also be an important link towards our R&D. 

 

You will play a vital role in driving customer success with Neste products and services. This involves providing technical solutions and expertise, including managing product-related technical topics and potential after-sales issues. As the technical authority, you'll also guide our regional commercial teams and other internal stakeholders.

Your role in our team

  • Provide technical product support for the Commercial EMEA team
  • Develop and deliver messages of technical characteristics and overall product benefits as part of the sales process
  • Lead investigations of product related claims and quality non-conformities
  • Be a technical point of contact for key customers and provide support as needed
  • Communicate technical information and requirements with a variety of external as well as internal stakeholders
  • Support commercial development and sales managers in developing  prospects  to actualize from  prospects to orders
  • Work with other regional technical specialists/managers to decide and ensure product integrity
  • Represente Neste to sit in technical/technology related institutes or serve as Neste member in corporate sponsored associations.


Keys to success in this role

  • University degree from a technical field
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in engineering from industrial environments such as  process industry, chemicals, fuels or other relevant fields 
  • Knowledge and experience of fuel specifications and preferably technical understanding of Renewable fuels, HVO and/or SAF products
  • Communication skills, decision-making ability and the ability to work independently
  • Problem solving skills and ability to collaborate with wide stakeholder group
  • Proactiveness and commercial mindset in seeking and deploying improvements in our products and processes
  • Interest towards renewable fuels
  • Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset
  • Ability to travel  up to 50% of the time.
