Feedstock Quality Manager / Specialist

We are looking for a Feedstock Quality Manager / Specialist to join our Feedstock growth team in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. We have an experienced global technical team supporting Feedstock supply and growth activities with the need to strengthen our European organisation.
In this role you will be responsible for development and feedstock quality management of Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region. Main focus would be assets in the Rotterdam area.
Your part in Neste journey
In this role, your main responsibilities include

Support the efforts managing feedstock quality and implementing processing solutions as related to the growing feedstock aggregation networks

Develop process to ensure optimal techno-economical feedstock quality management over the value chain

Documentation of relevant Feedstock data including pre-processing and quality management instructions

Analyse suppliers’ processes and keep record on their quality performance

Manage work related to feedstock quality and actively involve the internal stakeholders in the work to ensure alignment and best possible utilisation of the in-house expertise
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
-
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in engineering, chemistry or related field

Commercial mindset with strong technical and operational background

Minimum 3 years’ proven experience within biofuels (process development/analytics/feedstock sourcing & quality management) or relevant industries

Robust analytical skills and proven track record in converting the technical analysis to solutions and concrete action plans

Strong background in chemistry

Fluent written and spoken English, other languages are considered as an advantage

Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills

Hands-on attitude and eye for detail

Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 20%), and occasionally globally
