The Americas is one of the strategic markets for RRT business and has been demonstrating sustainable growth year over year.
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team that will be based in the US West Coast, with strong preference of Washington or Oregon with access to a major airport.
Your part in the Neste journey
It is a great time to join us! In your role, you will report to the Head of Sales.  This role will be focused primarily on maintaining and growing the NesteMY branded cardlock network with Neste’s established channel partners.  This is a salaried + bonus role.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the acquisition, development and growth of new cardlock business for Neste from accounts in various industry segments.
  • Manage the Cardlock account portfolio by developing exceptional relationships with key decision-makers and business owners.
  • Develop and own data analytics for the cardlock channels to drive performance excellence and continuous improvement. 
  • Develop a robust pipeline of business leads and opportunities.
  • Achieve volume and margin sales targets.
  • Analyze competitive and market data to develop and implement cardlock sales strategies.
  • Assist marketing and communications teams with managing cardlock onboarding and branding process
  • Work collaboratively with all Neste BUs to share industry information, market intelligence and to promote sales related to other teams

You will work closely with both external customers and internal functions such as Operations, Legal, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Strategy and Business Development within the Americas region and across the global network in Europe and APAC.  Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. Working safely at all times is essential to all of us.
We have a highly professional and capable team of experts working in the RRT Americas Sales Team. Our team is responsible for continuing the growth of our sales via solution selling, expanding our product and services to new markets and regions, and driving continuous improvement to better our financial result and customer satisfaction.  We work via multiple channels to optimize our participation effectiveness and also play an active role in supporting industry advocacy to promote green energy and circular economy.
Keys to success in this role
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in an account management or sales role
  • Knowledge and experience with selling fuel or energy related product to gas stations or cardlocks is NOT required but a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop strong relationships with customers and key decision makers
  • Proven track record of success in strategic professional selling and demonstrating value to customers Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of the art of negotiations and profitability analysis processes
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to develop and implement programs
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • A motivated self -starter, with good organizational skills
  • Willingness for over 50% travel with overnights will be required in the PNW region.
