We are looking for a 

 

Manager, Brand Owner Management (m/f/d)


to join our Renewable Polymers and Chemicals (RPC) Value Chain Development team.

 

We have a small team of experts working in Brand Owner Management. Our team is responsible for creating demand for renewable and recycled chemicals and polymers at sustainability specifiers: plastics converters and large brand owners like Unilever, Henkel, Ikea and many others.


Your part in Neste journey 

 

In this role, you will support the rapid growth of Neste business for Renewable Polymers and Chemicals. You will create demand at brand owners and are responsible for maintaining the relationships with the players in the chemicals and polymers industry. You will create a delivery system for Neste based sustainable solutions. Neste RPC is a fast growing new business and is recognized as a trailblazer in transforming the Chemicals and Polymers industry to become more sustainable by replacing the need for fossil feedstocks.

 

Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are

 

  • Rapidly grow demand of the Neste renewable products with the different brand owners and converters
  • Manage the BOs business funnel; qualify leads, establish contacts, grow business
  • Key account management with selected strategic brand owners
  • Identify the sustainability needs of brand owners and converters
  • Develop the delivery system for RPC to satisfy the needs for sustainable solutions/products of brand owners and converters
  • Develop ‘loyalty/stickiness’ for Neste based products with converters and brand owners

 

You will work closely with both internal stakeholders (Renewable Polymers and Chemicals organisation, Public Affairs, Legal and other support functions) and external stakeholders. You will report to Head of Brand Owner Management, Value Chain Development, Neste RPC.

Keys to success in this role
 
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is

 

  • M. Sc. in i.e., Business, Engineering or Chemistry, preferably with environmental or sustainability focus
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience in the chemical industry and/or experience in downstream industries
  • Experience in commercially oriented roles such as key-account management, sales, sourcing or business development
  • Driven by a strong sense of purpose to make the business of our customers more sustainable
  • Brings a network at brand owners, converters and/or the polymers and chemicals industry
  • Value and value-chain understanding
