AI Architecture Lead
to our CIO Office IT Department in Espoo, Finland. The CIO Office's goal is to ensure that Information Technology creates value in business activities. This is achieved by making certain that Neste utilizes the appropriate Information Technology and has effective and efficient practices for its delivery and use within an outsourced and internally franchised IT environment.
As the AI Architecture Lead, you'll be a key driver in Neste's AI journey, championing the adoption of artificial intelligence across the company. You will inspire and guide stakeholders to leverage AI technologies that drive innovation and create business value. While working closely with IT and business leaders, you will own the AI technology roadmap, ensuring a strategic and cost-effective approach to building AI solutions. Your role is to act as a catalyst for AI, promoting everything from common AI tools to "game-changing" applications that reshape our business environment.

You will lead the company-wide adaptation of AI and develop the AI architecture and technology blueprints. As a key promoter of AI technologies and its potential, your work will also involve:

Owning the AI Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with process owners, business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and IT leadership to align business needs and opportunities with technical capabilities, translating these into technology blueprints and a roadmap.

Internal AI Consulting: Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for all business units and development streams.

Driving Business Value through AI: Support stakeholders in identifying and implementing AI solutions that solve key business challenges and drive business growth and transformation.

Ensuring Compliance in AI Development: Stay up-to-date on the latest AI advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure a compliant and innovative approach.

Supporting AI Initiatives: Participate in all phases of AI solution development, from requirements gathering to implementation.
Keys to success in this role

A Master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.

Extensive experience in AI, data science, and advanced analytics, including successful implementations of AI and machine learning solutions.

Several years experience in IT architectural matters and knowledge on relevant Enterprise Architecture frameworks (like TOGAF)

Proven experience in developing new capabilities and technology-enabled processes.

Hands-on experience in creating AI solutions and leading projects from ideation and Proof of Concept (PoC) to production.

A strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and advanced analytics models.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to discuss complex technical matters with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A self-directed, results-oriented, and proactive mindset.
