Business Process Analyst (12-Month Fixed-Term)
to join our dynamic team in Espoo, Finland and help shape the future of renewable products!
The Data & Business Process Analytics team is responsible for process performance related analytics in the following key process areas: Capture Market Potential, Plan & Optimise; and Deliver & Fulfil Orders. Our team is a part of the Business Processes unit within the Renewable Products organization.
You will focus on analyzing current processes and support in KPI development to tackle identified inefficiencies. In this job you will work closely with process owners, stakeholders, subject matter experts as well as external consultants. Most of the functions that you will need to collaborate with also have a presence in our Espoo HQ, which keeps the lines short and ensures we can work together efficiently towards mutual goals.

This is a fixed-term position for a duration of 12 months, covering a team member currently on a job rotation. This role offers a unique opportunity to dive into Neste’s core renewable processes for a focused one-year period.
In this Business Process Analyst role you will be responsible for:

Driving improvements in Neste's business processes by analyzing efficiency and effectiveness using advanced data analytics and process mining tools

Translating complex data into actionable insights through detailed reports and dashboards, guiding continual process improvement

Identifying trends, patterns, bottlenecks and development opportunities within processes and recommending improvements and process automation opportunities to streamline workflows.

Creating and developing performance metrics and KPIs in close collaboration with business process owners, process developers and stakeholders with a focus on Capture Market Potential and Deliver and Fulfil Orders process areas.

Working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in business process development projects and continual improvements.

Acting as a bridge between RP business needs, Neste Data Platform and architectural teams and working in close collaboration with various business stakeholders and process and data management community.

Promoting best practices, techniques and standards in the area of data analytics and process development at Neste.
Keys to success in this role
-
Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in data analytics, business process analysis, or a similar field

Proven expertise in PowerBI, experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Data Factory), strong SQL skills, Google Suite.

Experience with Process mining tools such as Celonis as well as experience in Data engineering and Modeling are considered an advantage

Continual improvement mindset and desire to explore data and find insights that help to solve business problems. Lean Six Sigma experience is considered a plus.

The ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a can-do attitude

Basic understanding of business processes

Relevant knowledge of different business systems (e.g. Integrated ERP, Salesforce)

Strong documentation skills and ability to structure and simplify complex problems

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, virtually and in person

Excellent written and spoken English

Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field
