Business Solution Manager, Financial Reporting

to strengthen our Group Finance organization in Espoo, Finland. 

This is a key role in developing and managing our financial reporting and business intelligence solutions in Finance, particularly within the consolidation system (HFM) and Power BI. Your contribution will be vital in providing management with accurate and actionable financial insights to drive strategic decisions.

Your role in our team

• Be a key contributor to our financial reporting by managing some of the key solutions and data models that ensure the quality of Neste’s financial statements and analysis.
• Act as a HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) solution manager, ensuring its operative performance and value to business
• Develop and maintain advanced, visually impactful Power BI reports and dashboards that transform complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for key stakeholders and management. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle, from data modelling to final report publication and maintenance coordination.

HFM Solution Manager is responsible for the Consolidation system’s end-to-end delivery; lifecycle, development and maintenance activities, thus both strong technical skills and understanding of accounting and consolidation principles are required.

You will report to the Head of Finance Center of Excellence, Group Finance and work closely with other Finance departments, especially with Group Consolidation team and IT, getting exposure to the whole CFO Office organization of a large stock listed company, working with some of our most critical solutions. The work also entails close cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

The best combination to succeed in this role

• Master’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in financial accounting or business controlling
• Advanced knowledge of consolidation systems such as HFM and understanding of SAP FICO and finance processes      
• Proven expertise in BI-tools, especially Microsoft Power BI with relevant skills (e.g. DAX, Microsoft M, Power Query) 
• Data modeling skills
• Ability to navigate our data platform (Snowflake, SQL)
• Ability to steer work with a high degree of independence under tight deadlines
• Finnish and English language skills
