Development Manager, Sustainable Digital Solutions
to lead the development of our digital Carbon Footprint and Impact services to B2B customers.
Our Sustainable Solutions and Partnerships team is part of the Marketing and Services business unit in Neste and responsible for the acceleration of digital sustainable solutions and partnerships that help our B2B customers to reduce their own carbon footprint and create sustainable business offering.

Your role in creating a sustainable future
In this role, the focus will be coordinating the road map and development of our current and new sustainable digital solutions that support our customers’ in reducing their own and value chain emissions and measuring their climate impact. You will lead the definition of a sustainable services roadmap and work closely together with the internal and external partners, ensuring that nothing falls through the gaps when delivering the services to our customers. Your location will be in Espoo with flexible remote working opportunities.
This is a “hands on” -role where you get to:
- Lead and coordinate the development of our current and new digital carbon footprint and impact services to B2B customers
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders communicating our vision and roadmap
- Develop our service offering in sustainable services
- Prioritise the backlog and oversee the development process
- Develop our capabilities to gather and manage sustainability data
- Develop ways of working
- Ensure smooth digital service delivery and superior customer experience across channels
- Be the change maker in the industry that is rapidly changing
Keys to success in this role
We aim to build a diverse team of strong professionals. Some of the qualities we are looking for include:
- 5+ years experience of developing digital services/solutions
- Persistence and ability to lead and manage complex projects
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to network and coordinate the work with different stakeholders
- Business-oriented mindset
- Passion to develop new and eagerness to push the extra mile
- Excellent communication in English, Finnish is seen as a plus
Other strengths we value
- Background or strong interest in sustainability: e.g.experience from sustainability services, LCA or carbon footprint calculations
- Relevant experience from commercial development, service management and/or ownership
- Relevant studies (B.Sc) in Business, Engineering, Environment etc.
- Knowledge of the energy industry and/or relevant B2B industry seen as a plus
