We are looking for you,

Digital Development Manager

to join our Digital Development team at our Marketing & Services Business Unit in Espoo, Finland for a full-time and permanent position. We are a team of 6 product owners and development managers working to ensure the reliability and customer experience in our digital channels which are used by thousands of customers daily in Finland and Baltic countries.

In this role, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and compliance of our digital channels, being responsible for our Identity and Access Management tool. You will support incident resolutions, test new product updates before launch and develop our customers registration and login processes. You will also participate in the overall development of our digital channels, such as our public websites and our customer portal. In this role, you will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders such as marketing, customer service and sales. You have a strong business acumen paired with a genuine curiosity for how digital solutions are built and function.

More about the job

Your role in our team

  • Act as the business owner of our Identity and Access Management tool, developing our registration and login processes to improve customer experience and helping to solve issues by working together both with internal stakeholders and vendors. 

  • Act as the product owner for our public website, working together with internal stakeholders to identify improvements, prioritizing fixes, testing new features before launch and communicating to stakeholders. 

  • Analyze data to gain actionable insights that inform and drive the continuous improvement of our digital channels.

  • Drive internal understanding and adoption of digital solutions by internal training and creating support materials. 

  • Lead and participate in digital development initiatives to improve customer experience, to drive sales in digital channels and to increase adoption of digital services

  • Build capabilities for data driven decision making within the team. 


The best combination to succeed in this role

  • Masters degree in a Business or a Technical field

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working with digital services/channels/solutions

  • Experience in and/or understanding of customer identity and access management tools authentication protocols, and how they contribute to customer experience 

  • Proven experience on translating business needs to technical solutions.

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the organisation

  • Data-driven mind-set and the ability to make decisions based on data

  • Self-driven with the capability to lead initiatives and projects from start to finish

  • Responsible attitude with a safety-oriented mindset


Other strengths we value

  • Understanding of API development and integration work

  • Understanding of content management systems

  • Experience in working in an agile environment

  • Basic working skills in Finnish
