Digital Development Manager

to join our Digital Development team at our Marketing & Services Business Unit in Espoo, Finland.

We are a team of 6 product owners and development managers working to ensure the reliability of our digital channels and a high-quality experience for the thousands of customers in Finland and the Baltics who use them daily. We are in the middle of a major digital and business transformation, and we are looking for a new team member with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. This is a full-time, temporary position covering parental leave until the end of September 2027.

In this role, your primary responsibility is to work at the intersection of our digital channels team and the ongoing ERP renewal project. You will represent the requirements of digital channels and customers, resolve blockers and escalate decision needs.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented digital professional who is eager to grow as we continue our digital transformation. You are a systematic problem-solver who enjoys working with digital solutions to ensure they provide a clear, user-friendly experience for our customers. You communicate effectively with various teams, helping others adapt to new systems and ways of working. You have a genuine curiosity for how digital solutions are built and function. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a few years of experience in digital solutions, business analysis or customer support, but we value a can-do attitude and willingness to learn more than a specific background. Together with your expertise, we can do meaningful work to drive Neste forward.

More about the job

You will..

  • represent digital solutions’ requirements in the ERP renewal project as part of the digital solutions stream. You will bring up the process and capability needs from the perspective of our digital solutions to ensure great customer experience. 

  • create instruction and training materials for internal teams, such as customer service and onboarding teams, about our digital solutions and how they integrate with the business processes. 

  • define functional test cases, conduct hands-on testing of new features and document bugs to ensure high-quality releases.

  • work with data files to prepare for data migration. 

  • be responsible for internal communications (eg. release communication, internal training sessions) when new functionalities are launched.

  • use data to enhance customer experience, boost usage of our channels, and improve reliability. 

  • collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancing the customer experience.

  • participate actively in various development projects related to developing our digital channels and customer experience.
     

The best combination to succeed in this role

  • Masters degree in a Business or a Technical field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with digital services/channels/solutions. 

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the organisation and across countries 

  • Data-driven mindset and the ability to make decisions based on data.

  • Self-driven approach with a willingness to learn and adapt. 

  • Responsible attitude with a safety-oriented mindset.

  • Fluent English skills as our company language is English

 Other strengths we value

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps. 

  • Experience working with Microsoft D365. 

  • Experience in working in an agile environment. 

  • Basic professional proficiency in Finnish.
