We are looking for you,

Enterprise Architect, SAP

to join our Shared Services Management team in the Processes, Data & IT unit, based in Espoo, Finland

Shape the trajectory of Neste’s SAP landscape. You will be responsible for developing the short- and mid-term architecture for SAP that serves as the foundation of our business and IT operations. You will drive the SAP architecture by maintaining the architecture roadmap, leading high-impact architectural initiatives and delivering expert SAP architectural support to initiatives. Acting as a strategic liaison, you will collaborate with both business and IT stakeholders ranging from senior leadership to domain experts to ensure our SAP ecosystem supports Neste’s evolving needs.

To succeed in the role collaboration with a wider network of business and function stakeholders will be essential. This role provides you insight both into the strategic direction of Neste business as well as the operative IT landscape. Your role in our team

• Lead & define architectural standard & roadmaps across Neste’s SAP S4Hana, SAP BTP, SAP Data product landscape

• Develop short to mid-term target architecture state for SAP domain

• Ensure the SAP architecture roadmap is tightly aligned with the broader integrated system ecosystem

• Gather and analyze opportunities and business needs, perform evaluations of alternatives fit for businesses and make recommendations for short and long term actions 

• Participate in key initiatives, translating complex requirements into SAP driven solutions as an architectural link between business & execution

• Contribute to early phases of major development projects e.g. analyzing business cases, defining content for RFP and evaluate solution alternatives

• Analyze trends and requirements, impacts to systems and project portfolio

• Actively cooperate and communicate with business, IT and suppliers

• Work closely with business development and IT professionals to ensure that the target SAP landscape supports business growth, optimizes Neste group overall benefit and roadmap is actionable

Keys to success in this role

• Strong hands-on SAP expertise and architectural experience

• Extensive proficiency of SAP product portfolio, offerings and industry solutions

• Several years of experience as enterprise architect e.g. in leading role in an international company or as consultant focusing on SAP architecture

• Demonstrated competencies in the area of enterprise architecture development and you know relevant EA frameworks and domains like TOGAF or Gartner and data architectures

• Ability to understand, analyze, and apply abstract architectural concepts and recommend most suitable solution(s)

• Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA solutions, Cloud solutions (leading SaaS, PaaS, IaaS etc), API, IoT, AI, Analytics

• Analytical approach and ability to identify dependencies and key impacts in a large and complex process and system landscape and visualize these to different stakeholders

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and influential at every level in organization
