We are looking for you,

Finance Trainee (hourly employed)

to our Group Consolidation team in Espoo.

You will work on an hourly basis approximately 0-37.5 hours per week. The position is temporary starting from October 2026 and ending on 30th April 2027. The start date is negotiable and will be discussed with the selected candidates.

You will work on

You will focus on Neste’s external financial reporting and work closely with Neste’s global finance organization and investor relations. Our team of seven experts is responsible for Neste’s annual and interim financial statements and accounting principles. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. You will report to the Head of Group Consolidation. 

You will support the team with month-end reporting and annual closing tasks, providing you with a great opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial accounting and consolidation. 

Your tasks will include:

  • Participating in month-end and quarter-end reporting 

  • Analyzing group financial figures within your area of responsibility

  • Preparing consolidated financial statements and interim reports

  • Assisting with project and ad hoc tasks

  • You are currently studying or have completed studies in accounting or another relevant field

  • Experience and interest in bookkeeping, consolidation, financial accounting tasks and processes

  • Previous experience on finance applications and tasks are considered as an asset

  • Positive and energetic personality with good social skills

  • Development mindset and motivated to learn new skills

  • Proactive working style

  • Fluent spoken and written English and Finnish required (we prepare materials in both languages)

  • Strong Excel and technical skills

  • Detailed oriented and solid team player

  • Flexibility to align working hours with month-end reporting schedules 

  • Availability to continue in the role from May to September 2027 is considered as an advantage
