Global Process Owner, Operative Planning

to our Plan & Optimize team. This role can be based in: Espoo (Finland), Hoofddorp (the Netherlands), Geneva (Switzerland) or Singapore.

This role focuses on the ownership and leadership of the global level 1 business process for "Operative Planning". You will collaborate closely with both the Renewable and Oil Products businesses. Operative planning is executed by production and logistics planning teams across multiple global locations. Key stakeholders also include process development experts within our Business Processes function, IT solution owners, and data & architecture experts.

Your role in our team

  • Establish data driven continual improvement (CI) practices

    • Set up process structures and build process owner network

    • Measure process performance and increase CI awareness

    • Implement Lean Daily Management within the operative organisation

  • Drive development initiatives

    • Refine ideas and prioritize development backlog

    • Promote ideas and acquire project resources

    • Support initiatives in a steering group role

  • Contribute to “Plan & Optimize” wide process governance work

    • Manage large number of stakeholders cross-functionally


Keys to success in this role

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in business, technology, or other relevant area

  • 5+ years of full-time professional experience

  • Demonstrated influencing and stakeholder management proficiency

  • Expertise in logistics or production scheduling

  • Experience in improving supply chain planning processes

  • Insight into operative planning tool development

  • Lean Six Sigma know-how (e.g. Green Belt certification)

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English

We also value

  • Team leadership or project management experience

  • Strong organizational change management skills

  • Experience in oil or renewable fuel industry
