We are looking for you,

 

IT Operating Model Lead

 

to our IT Strategy & Transformation department in Espoo, Finland. The team is responsible for driving operational efficiency and ensuring aligned ways of working across IT (e.g. management of IT financials, data, performance, business value and operating model).

 

You will focus on leading the IT Operating Model change from process to business solution optimized. You will be working closely with the IT Department Heads (i.e. IT Leadership team) and various business stakeholders to drive efficiency and aligned ways of working both with IT and within IT.


In your role, you will be at the forefront of change, working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive the evolution and adoption of our operating model and updated IT strategy. You will ensure the initiatives in the Operating Model roadmap are on track and communicated.

Your role in our team

 

  • Lead the IT Operating Model adoption and change management with IT Department Heads (members of IT Leadership Team), IT team leads, relevant business roles and IT Process Owners. 
  • Monitor and report the adoption progress and actively capture needs for clarifications in IT’s ways of working
  • Continuous improvement of the IT Operating Model elements based on learning, industry best practices (e.g. Gartner and Business Technology Standard frameworks) and alignment with any changes in the IT unit
  • Participating in IT strategy updates with insights from IT Operating Model adoption
  • Driving IT role clarity by ensuring an up to date “IT roles catalog” and related coaching of the IT line managers together with IT’s HR business partner
  • Set up collaboration forums for the key roles to ensure alignment in ways of working
  • Coach departments and teams in adoption and execution of IT Operating Model 
  • Ensure regular communications regarding the IT Operating Model change and ways of working
  • Closely collaborates with IT Process Performance Lead to identify bottlenecks and inefficiency in IT processes and needed actions towards improved efficiency

 

The best combination to succeed in this role

 

  • Educational background: University or Bachelor degree (M.Sc., B.Sc) in relevant field
  • Several years of work in IT, with a focus on IT process/operating model development and adoption
  • Solid understanding of IT operating models, IT processes, ways of working and related frameworks e.g. Business Technology Standard (BTS), Gartner IT Operating Model, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Scaled Agile Framework (SaFE)
  • Good track record of leading changes and/or transformations in international organizations
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and fact-based decision-making skills
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
