We are looking for you, a self-guided, result-oriented and collaborative
IT Solutions Manager, Data Connectivity
to join the IT Infrastructure and Cloud team. The position is permanent and it is based at Neste headquarters in Espoo.

Your role in our team
In this IT Solutions Manager role, you are responsible for managing Neste’s Data Connectivity infrastructure and participate in the service management work with our main infrastructure vendors.
Your main responsibilities are to

Manage and optimize data connectivity solutions such as wireless connections, internet connections, VPN and cloud connectivity

Manage and oversee the implementation efforts of new data connectivity solutions, including hardware, software, and configurations

Monitor performance and identify opportunities for optimization

Manage security measures for data transmission, including encryption and intrusion detection/prevention systems, to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches

Manage and own remote gateways and remote connections to cloud and OT environments, VPNs and DNS services

Oversee troubleshooting efforts and coordinate incident response activities to address data connectivity issues to minimize disruptions to business operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and all needed stakeholders closely tied to the data connectivity area

Support the automation network (OT) management of Neste's refineries

Support Neste remote office network setups and daily operations
You will work closely both with colleagues from the IT Infrastructure and Cloud team as well as with service area vendors, IT Architects and our business representatives to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions in the connectivity area.
The keys to success in this role
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is

5+ years of solid work experience in management of Data Connectivity area

Proficiency in network security principles and practices, including encryption, authentication, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Experience in working with multiple vendors and stakeholders
-
A desire to learn, adapt and develop both your skills and technical solutions
-
Service management experience
-
Fluent English
