We are looking for you,
IT Solution Manager
in our Functions Solutions IT Team, mainly focussing on the Corporate Safety, Quality, Compliance, Environment areas. The position is permanent and based at Neste Headquarters in Espoo.
We have a small, diversified and enthusiastic team of experts working in Functions Solutions under Shared Solutions IT. Our team is responsible for Functions areas such as HR, Safety, Health, Environment, Quality process, Finance, Business Process Management, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Legal, Treasury and Risk Management, Investor Relationship, Public affairs, Compliance etc, each considered as Solutions Area. Our Objective is to meet the overall IT Strategy by enabling key objectives of IT Strategy in all these Solutions areas ensuring that everything we do is viable, optimal and built to last. Your role in our team
-
Own and manage the assigned Solution areas - e.g. Corporate Safety applications and services incl. demand management, planning, development, maintenance & continuous improvement

Manage Plan, Application/Service Transformation and Operate assignments and dependencies
-
Cooperate with Business & IT stakeholders on specific planning and development matters (e.g. roadmap, capability plan, software lifecycle, new requirements for safety management systems, data governance, etc)

Lead project preparation and participate in project steering group as needed
-
Ensure services & solutions bring value to business and promote user satisfaction
-
Lead IT partner ecosystem in the Corporate Safety solution area
-
Manage IT and Data governance with Business, IT and partners
-
Ensure compliance regarding licences, audits, security and other compliance items
-
Collaborate with other IT roles in operational/service delivery incl. ITIL processes, cost management & optimization
-
Accountable to ensure adequate monitoring of IT systems for irregularities and performance issues
-
Ensure business continuity, preventive maintenance and following standardised processes
-
Act as a single point of contact from IT for all matters related to assigned Corporate Safety and Quality applications and services (for all business units/Functions)

Take up service improvement or enhancement initiatives along with IT partners to meet business expectations
Keys to success in this role
The best combination to succeed in this role

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, e.g. IT Manager, IT Solution Manager, Development Manager, Delivery Manager in the Corporate Safety area or managing enterprise applications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Finnish is an advantage for ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders

Excellent teamworking skills
-
Proficiency in IT financial management, including budget forecasting and analysis of actual spend
-
Be able to take part in steering meetings and suitably able to communicate achievements
Following qualifications may put you ahead in the list

Certification in IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL) or relevant Corporate Safety applications is an advantage
-
Technical knowledge or know-how in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and enterprise service platforms
-
Knowledge of tools & technologies for Corporate Safety and Quality Management Systems (e.g., specific EHS/QMS platforms, incident management tools, audit management systems)
-
Managing a team or application support team with a multi-vendor setup
-
Prior experience in creating capability roadmap, architectural blueprint, maintenance Plan, enabling Business KPIs, being a part of a large IT/Digital transformation
-
University degree and/or solid experience is always a big plus

This position typically requires the following qualifications
