Inventory Process Controller
to join our Inventory Accounting team in Global Financial Services ("GFS") organisation in Neste headquarters in Espoo, Finland. GFS organisation provides company level operational financial services in all Neste companies worldwide.
In your role, you have a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory valuations and reporting for the selected BU’s and/or legal entities. You will also participate in the process and system development projects related to inventory accounting. In this job you will work closely with operations, logistics, regional finance managers & controllers, other finance teams, IT solution managers and auditors.

Your role in our team
- Ensure Inventory Accuracy: Perform essential checks and controls to confirm month-end inventory volumes and manage the period-end inventory valuation process for designated business units and legal entities.
- Reporting & Analysis: Conduct monthly reporting on inventories and provide insightful ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
- System & Process Improvement: Participate in system development and testing within the inventory valuation area. You'll identify improvement needs in the inventory process area, contributing to development projects and helping to develop common working procedures and instructions in cooperation with internal stakeholders
- Support & Collaboration: Escalate system errors from an end-user perspective to the Key User and Solution Manager. You'll also prepare audit materials and support auditors with inventory-related inquiries, and provide support to new team members.
Keys to success in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, industrial engineering or similar relevant field
- Proven experience in inventory accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role in manufacturing business
- Good understanding of accounting principles and inventory valuation methods
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in SAP FICO and relevant reporting tools skills
- 4+ years of experience in finance
- Fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, virtually and in person
