We are looking for a Manager, Business Analytics to support the global Procurement function with sharp insights, clear reporting, and robust analysis. In this role, you will help drive our external cost savings programme, strengthen our market understanding, while leveraging your analytical skills.

You will work in the field of business intelligence and analytics as part of our Procurement Quality and Development team, located in Espoo. In this job you will work closely with Neste’s global teams in procurement, finance, operations and business functions.

Your role in our team


  • Own procurement’s external cost savings stream and related governance.

    • Lead and drive reporting, tracking, scenario modeling, monitoring and analyzing savings initiatives and related business cases.

    • Identify new savings opportunities, collaborating with procurement categories and business stakeholders globally. Present status and cases to steering groups and management.

    • Provide savings related training, support and expertise for procurement personnel.

 

  • Leverage expertise in business intelligence, analytics and market intelligence.

    • Provide actionable data insights to steer strategic decisions and optimize the global procurement cost base and to support data-driven decision making.

    • Further improve our reporting and analytics capabilities, e.g. KPI dashboards, PowerBI reports and scorecards.


Keys to success in this role

  • M.Sc in economics, finance, business analytics, supply chain management or similar educational background.

  • Several years of working experience in roles of business analytics, finance or data analytics.

  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills, comfortable engaging with senior leadership.

  • A proactive attitude, strong business acumen and a passion for data driven analysis.

  • Capability in translating data into clear actionable business insights and recommendations. Provide recommendations that measurably improve our strategic KPIs.

  • Excellent English language skills.

 

We also highly value technical proficiency in PowerBI, Celonis, SQL, Python, R and/ or Snowflake.
