We are looking for you,

Manager, Middle Office, Supply and Refining 

to join our Commodity Middle office team in Espoo.

You will work closely with various different internal stakeholders and lead the discussion related to the Middle office in the area of Supply and Refining, supporting both Neste’s core business units. With the front office, your role is to ensure that processes and risk limits are followed and business gets an accurate view to execute informative decisions. As the business changes continuously, you and your team will play a crucial role to support the change by educating and providing visibility over complex market risks structures.

Currently based in Espoo, Geneva and Houston, our international team of experts works in the Market risk & Middle office team within Neste Corporate treasury and risk management function. We are responsible for designing and implementing market risk management framework, commodity risk monitoring and control.

Your role in our team 

• Lead the team of MIddle officers working with Refining and Supply related risks in the area of Oil and Renewable products. 

• Ensure that middle office reporting is accurate and provides the correct information for business

• Educate the key stakeholders regarding market risks exposures & PnL and explain the results of trading and hedging activities to top management. 

• Own, Improve and develop related market risk controls and middle office processes

Keys to success in this role 

• Master’s degree in related field

• Excellent team leading skills 

• Previous experience in the area of market risks, either in commodity, electricity or financial sector

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Analytical mindset with independent problem solving and decision making skills.

• Solid data analysis and process development skills

We also value:   

Previous experience with PowerBI and Allegro ETRM.
