We are looking for you, a highly motivated and experienced

Manager, Cybersecurity Team

to our Cybersecurity team in Espoo. You will play a critical dual role: leading a global team of talented cybersecurity professionals and facilitating our cybersecurity demand and project portfolio management. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to shape our security posture, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure our cybersecurity investments are aligned with business priorities.

In this job you will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders. You will work directly with business groups and other support teams to understand their needs. You will brainstorm together with your colleagues and team members how to meet these requirements. You will facilitate strategic plans to support Neste senior leaders in making prioritization decisions that match the risk appetite set by our board.

The key responsibilities in this role are

• Team management and development: lead, mentor and coach a team of cybersecurity specialists. Foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning and professional growth. Contribute to resource planning, recruitment and onboarding of new cybersecurity talent
  
  

• Performance management: set clear goals, conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Identify and implement to our processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  
  

• Collaboration: lead by example to further improve our strong collaboration culture within the cybersecurity team, within Neste and with our partnersDemand management: establish and mature a robust demand management process for cybersecurity services and initiatives. Help to prioritize incoming security demands based on risk, business impact, regulatory compliance and strategic alignmentPortfolio management: develop, maintain and mature the cybersecurity project portfolio, ensuring alignment with the overall IT and BG plans and strategies. Monitor performance, key metrics and report on the progress, risks and resource utilization of our projects. 

Keys to success in this role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field

• 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role

• Proven experience in managing cybersecurity projects and / or portfolios

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS controls)

• Solid grasp of several cybersecurity domains including, but not limited to, network security, application security, cloud security, identity and access management, incident response and risk management

• Good leadership, team-building and mentoring skills

• Good communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization

Other strengths we value

• Relevant industry certificates such as CISSP and CISM or equivalent are appreciated
