We are looking for you,

Manager, Digital Services (temporary)

to our global Marketing team in Espoo, Finland, for a fixed-term contract (family leave substitute) ending in April 2027.


You will focus on elevating Neste's online presence by acting as a key in-house partner for our web content operations, ensuring our internal teams are fully supported in our content  management system (CMS). You will also play a vital role in managing our SEO/SEM strategy and marketing automation activities, collaborating closely with our external partners and internal stakeholders.

Your role in our team


  • Web content support: Act as the primary in-house partner for our internal teams, providing close, hands-on support in web content planning, creation, and edits within our Contentful CMS. You will be the go-to person for our content editors, assisting with ad-hoc requests, troubleshooting, and ensuring a smooth web content publishing process.

  • Search engine marketing: In partnership with our partner, oversee the operational management of our Google Ads accounts, including campaign planning, optimization, conversion tracking, and budget management.

  • Search engine optimization: In collaboration with our partner, manage and develop Neste's overall organic visibility, focusing on business-specific content, technical SEO, and content optimization.

  • Marketing automation: Take charge of our global newsletters and automated journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including building, sending, reporting, and continuous optimization.

  • Partner & stakeholder management: Serve as the main point of contact for designated digital marketing partners and collaborate closely with internal teams (eg. marketing, communications, investor relations) to ensure alignment and execution.


The best combination to succeed in this role

  • Several years of experience in digital marketing, with a broad understanding of the landscape.

  • Proven, hands-on experience with content management systems, specifically with a passion for supporting, guiding, and troubleshooting for content editors.

  • Practical hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms.

  • A solid understanding of SEM and SEO principles, along with experience in managing related budgets.

  • A relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (e.g., in Marketing, Business, or a related field).

  • A responsible, proactive attitude and a collaborative mindset, backed by strong project management skills to effectively manage external agency partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting on performance and collaborating with stakeholders.

  • Fluency in English.


Other strengths we value

  • Deeper expertise in planning, executing, and optimizing paid search campaigns.

  • A strong background in SEO, covering technical aspects, content optimization, and performance monitoring.

  • Proficiency with key industry tools, such as Contentful (highly valued), Google Ads, Google Search Console, SEMrush (or similar), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and analytics or reporting platforms.
