We are looking for you,

Manager, Strategy

to join our Strategy department in the Renewables Products business unit, based in Espoo, Finland.

 

In this role you get to shape the future of Neste and our Renewable Products business unit by developing the mid- to long term business unit strategy and ensuring its successful deployment to reach our strategic targets. 

 

You will work closely with our business stakeholders and be part of a dynamic and high-performing team; you will be able to lead projects independently but also work together with your team members on annual strategy rounds answering the most crucial questions impacting Neste’s future. To succeed in the role collaboration with a wider network of business and function stakeholders will be essential. 

 

This role provides high exposure to our leadership team, intellectual challenge and opportunities to influence our future. In this role, you will report to the Director, Strategy, Renewable Products.

Your role in our team

  • Develop and maintain the business area strategy and strategic roadmap and define how to measure success

  • Conduct scenario planning and mid- to long-term strategic analysis across businesses and regions 

  • Ensure business has a clear roadmap for competitiveness and growth

  • Support executive decision making with data driven analysis

  • Ensure alignment between corporate and business area strategy 

  • Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders

  • Lead project planning, risk management, execution, and monitoring, ensuring quality and timely delivery

  • Facilitate workshops, development sprints, and stakeholder sessions to drive alignment and progress

 

Keys to success in this role

  • 4+ years of experience in corporate / business area strategy, consulting or investment banking roles

  • Strong analytical skill set with ability to prove hypothesis through data driven analysis

  • Ability to build models, define drivers and forecast trends

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills

  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional strategic initiatives

  • Experience in working across matrix organizations and engaging with diverse stakeholder group

  • Strong skills in project and program management, including scope definition, resource planning, risk management, and progress monitoring

  • Solid understanding of transformation processes, from ideation to implementation

  • Competence in impact measurement, continuous learning, and applying insights to improve future initiatives

  • Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field
