We are looking for you,
Manager, Safety and Quality Management
to lead Neste’s corporate approach to safety and quality management.
In this job you will work closely with various internal stakeholders including site organizations and cross-discipline colleagues. You will be part of the Neste Safety Leadership Team and reporting to the Vice President, Safety. The job location is at our headquarters in Espoo, Finland.

Your role in our team

Maintain and continually improve the effectiveness of Neste’s corporate Operations Excellence Management System (OEMS)

Lead and develop Neste safety and quality management practices including the internal OEMS audit program
-
Provide guidance to businesses for relevant ISO certifications
-
Develop capability for example as chief internal OEMS auditor trainer
-
Coordinate the planning and execution of the Neste corporate safety roadmap
-
Coordinate the portfolio of corporate safety improvement programs; leading specific improvement programs as directed
Keys to success in this role
-
10+ years of relevant experience in safety and quality management: a background in safety critical / high hazard facilities such as the process and chemical industry is a plus

Solid understanding of contemporary principles in safety and quality management and a proven track record of their practical application

Demonstrated ability as a lead auditor with the ability to coach and train colleagues

Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships, influencing in a matrix organization

Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of systems and processes
-
Relevant Masters level degree, for example: safety science, chemical, mechanical or process engineering

Excellent written and verbal English and Finnish
