Manager M&A

to join our Corporate Strategy and M&A team in Espoo.

You will focus on M&A transactions across Neste’s businesses. In this job you will work closely with Neste’s management, Neste’s businesses as well as all relevant corporate functions. You will be a member of the Corporate Strategy and M&A team which is part of Neste’s CFO organization.

In our team, you will evaluate and conduct M&A transactions which requires strong analytical and coordinating skills and prior experience in M&A. The Corporate Strategy and M&A team is at the core of Neste’s strategy. Together with your expertise, we can do meaningful work to drive Neste forward.

Your role in our team

The Neste M&A team is responsible for leading the sourcing, execution and integration of Neste Group-wide M&A activities. 

Your role as a member of the M&A team is to work with the top management of Neste and business area leaders in M&A process analysis, execution and coordination. You will actively support the Neste M&A team and potentially manage several M&A projects and participate in decision-making. You will be involved in all phases of the M&A process: from screening, to due diligence, transaction execution and integration. Your role will also include, when relevant, working on the strategy processes of Neste.

In your position you will report to the Vice President Corporate Strategy and M&A.

Keys to success in this role

You are a team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You have both strategic capacity as well as a pragmatic “hands-on” attitude to work with M&A projects in an international environment. To move things forward you have strong communication and social skills combined with a positive attitude to get things done. The right person is comfortable working with Neste senior management, employees and our partners across the globe.

• Master’s degree in a relevant field 

• Several years of relevant work experience in M&A, e.g. from investment banking, corporate strategy, or private equity

• Ability to work independently as part of a multinational team

• Strong financial modelling competency 

• Attention to detail, organised and results driven

• Business acumen, drive and willingness to learn

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Willingness to travel

• Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset

• Excellent English
