We are looking for you,
Specialist, Operative Planning Development
to our Supply Chain Development team in Espoo or Porvoo.
Join our agile team to drive the development of operative planning tools for Oil Products and Renewable Products. In addition to your own team, you will work closely with many different stakeholders in order to take our Excellence development work into action. Your main contacts are the planners in SCM and productions, specialists in Production teams and different development teams within Neste. Together with you and your expertise, we can make an impact today and keep our promises for tomorrow.
Your role in our team

Drive the development of the supply chain and refinery operative planning tool (AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Schedule) in collaboration with the team

Provide essential support and problem-solving services to ensure business users can effectively utilize the tools

Act as a key member of Neste's planning and optimization tools center of excellence, collaborating with business teams to identify development opportunities and drive continuous improvement

Participate in the development and implementation of new digital solutions to enhance planning processes, innovate solutions for internal customers, and support business planners
Keys to success in this role
-
Understanding of refinery operations
-
Previous experience of supply chain operations, planning, optimization or development
-
Fluent English (spoken and written). Skills in Finnish are considered as an asset

Preferably Master of Science degree or equivalent
-
Good teamwork skills and natural tendency for cooperation
-
Ability to work in multi-tasking environment, but also to implement tasks systematically
Other strengths we value

Experience of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Schedule or other similar supply chain planning tool (development or business usage) or LP models in general
-
Experience of first principles models or tools such as Petro-SIM or Aspen HYSYS (usage or modelling, preferably in the hydrocarbon industry)

Experience of process unit performance monitoring (mass balance monitoring and or LP-validation)
-
Experience of system integrations, development or maintenance
-
Experience of Scrum method in daily management

Innovativeness and enthusiasm to improve systems and processes
