We are looking for two talented and driven:

Supply Chain Modelling Specialists

to join our Plan & Optimize team. This role is based in our head office in Espoo, Finland.


This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of planning at our Renewable Products business area. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying simulation and optimization models that are used to steer our complex global supply chain. The models are used both by our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes. You will work in a highly collaborative team alongside Global Process Owners, a Business Solution Owner, a Lead Architect and external vendors to transform our planning capabilities.

Your role in our team

 

  • Build sophisticated supply chain planning models for our global S&OP and S&OE processes using Anaplan's low-code environment

  • Develop advanced mathematical optimization models using Python and Gurobi solver to automate S&OE demand-supply balancing (for one of the two roles)

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to convert complex business needs to development requirements, ensuring models are fit-for-purpose and drive value

  • Own the modelling lifecycle, from initial design and development to deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement

  • Act as a key link between the business's strategic goals and the technical solutions that enable them

 

Core qualifications for both roles:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Physics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science

  • A strong analytical mindset with a passion to turn intricate real-world problems into structured mathematical models

  • Proactive approach to understand the interconnected processes, systems, people, and complex sustainability rules of the Renewable Products business

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English


Specific qualifications for each profile:

  • Position 1: Senior Specialist, Planning Development

    • 5+ years of professional experience in data science or other relevant role

    • Deep expertise in mathematical optimization, demonstrated through hands-on experience with solvers like Gurobi or CPLEX

    • Experience with connected planning platforms like Anaplan is highly valued

  • Position 2: Specialist, Planning Development

    • Proven experience building or using models in a connected planning platform, with a strong preference for Anaplan

    • We are open to different levels of experience for this role, from emerging talent with a strong aptitude for modelling to a seasoned Anaplan expert


We also value

  • Experience in the renewable fuel, or process industry in general

  • Understanding of supply chain planning processes like S&OP or S&OE

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and databases (SQL)
