We are looking for you,
Specialist, Supply Chain Development
to our Supply Chain Development team in Espoo. The position is a temporary position due to parental leave until the end of September, 2026.
Join our agile team to drive the development of operative planning tools for OP and RP. In addition to your own team, you will work closely with many different stakeholders in order to take our Excellence development work into action. Your main contacts are the planners in SCM and Production, specialists in Production teams and different development teams within Neste. Together with you and your expertise, we can make an impact today and keep our promises for tomorrow.

Your role in our team

Drive the development of the supply chain and refinery optimization tool (Spiral Plan, Network, Assay) in collaboration with the team

Provide essential support and problem-solving services to ensure business users can effectively utilize the tools

Act as a key member of Neste's planning and optimization tools center of excellence, collaborating with business teams to identify development opportunities and drive continuous improvement

Participate in the development and implementation of new digital solutions to enhance planning processes, innovate solutions for internal customers, and support business planners
Keys to success in this role
-
Understanding of refinery operations
-
Previous experience of process/automation design/modelling, process engineering, supply chain operations, planning, optimization or development

Fluent English (spoken and written); skills in Finnish are considered as an asset

Preferably Master of Science degree or equivalent
-
Good teamwork skills and natural tendency for cooperation

Ability to work in multi-tasking environment, but also to implement tasks systematically
Other strengths we value

Experience of Spiral Suite (AVEVA Unified Supply Chain) or other similar planning tool (development or business usage)

Experience of Scrum method in daily management

Innovativeness and enthusiasm to improve systems and processes

Skills in tools like Jira, SAP etc.
