Your role during the summer

You won't just be watching from the sidelines; you will get a look "under the hood" of how a major IT organization functions. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical expertise in the frameworks that keep our information technology running efficiently, including Enterprise Architecture, IT Financial Management, and Portfolio Management.

As a CIO Office Summer Trainee, you will focus on improving how we work. Your specific tasks will include:

• Improving Data Quality and reporting: Enhancing and cleaning data in our key management systems (ServiceNow, Apptio, and SAP Project System).

• IT Practices Development: Participating in the development of practices in areas such as IT Financial Management, Portfolio and Resource Management, and Enterprise Architecture.

• Documentation: Updating IT guidelines and improving the findability of relevant process documentation.

• Innovation: Ideating and implementing improvements to support efficient ways of working (e.g., utilizing AI).
  
  

You will work together with your CIO Office colleagues and other summer trainees and employees within the Processes, Data, and IT Unit.

The best combination to succeed in this role

• You are currently in the final stages of your Business Technology studies (e.g., Digital Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Business IT, Service Management, or Industrial Engineering and Management)

• You have excellent communication skills in English.

• You are motivated to learn and have the ability to identify areas for process improvement.

• You have basic knowledge of application development, IT processes, or IT Service Management.

• Beneficial but not mandatory: Experience with tools like ServiceNow, SAP, Monday.com, or Apptio.

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging.

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
