Summer trainee, Commercial Contracts

to our Global Logistics & Commercial Operations Support team in Espoo location. We are a team of 18 professionals dedicated to drafting commercial contracts with substance matter support from internal stakeholders.

Your role during the summer

You will support your team and get the opportunity to deepen your own expertise in commercial contracts. You will focus on drafting commercial contracts as well as handling  internal and external contracts related communication. In our team, you will work closely with a team of subject matter specialists who will mentor you with your daily responsibilities. You will also work with numerous internal and external teams, including Sales and Supply Managers, Operators and the Legal Department.

As a Summer Trainee, Commercial Contracts, you will  

• be involved in the day to day support of domestic, export, supply and trading operations associated with shipments by rail, truck and vessel

• handle Supply, Sales, Trading and other related contracts drafting, wording, communication and co-operation internally and externally

It is possible to modify the content of the assignment and responsibilities according to the selected candidate.

• You are currently studying or have studied legal studies, business studies or a similar, relevant field

• Attention to detail

• Motivated, responsible and independent approach to your work

• Ability to adopt new IT-systems

• Strong negotiation and communication skills; team player attitude

• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, both written and spoken

• Flexibility in working hours within global environment requirements (service time in contracts team is 8am-6pm, on weekdays, i.e. the selected trainee would be working on a few days a month until 6pm)

• We also value previous experience from legal, contracts management, sales or customer service

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging. 

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
