Summer Trainee, Communications

We are looking for a Communications trainee

join Neste’s global Communications team at the company's Espoo headquarters.

In your role you will for example:

• participate in Neste’s media work together with the team

• update Neste’s presentations and website

• assist in compiling communications performance metrics

• coordinate and help organize internal events and communications (e.g., town halls, company newsletters)

• write and publish articles in the intranet

• maintain the external and internal communications calendar

• proofread and edit communications materials (press releases, internal announcements, presentations) for consistency and clarity

• assist in different communications projects

The key success in this role:

• university studies, ideally with a recent M.Sc. or close to finalizing studies, in communications, marketing, business or other applicable field

• relevant work experience

• attention to detail and taking initiative

• ability to work effectively in a global organization and multicultural environment desire to collaborate with external stakeholders, including media

• a can do attitude together with excellent cooperation skills

• excellent writing skills, fluency in both Finnish and English

We are offering a 6 months internship, starting in April. The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. We work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging.

We don’t expect you to be a stellar communicator in the beginning, but with us you will have a great chance to become one. You will have a supportive team around you. We truly care for and help each other! In your role, you will report to the Head of Corporate Communications.

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits.
