Summer trainee, Digital Workplace Solutions (End user support and Communication)  

to our Digital Workplace Solutions team in the Data and IT Platforms department in Espoo. We are a team of 8 professionals dedicated to empower all Neste employees and partners with the digital devices and tools they need for a smart and efficient collaboration.

Your role during the summer

As a Summer Trainee, Digital Workplace Solutions (End user support and Communication), you will support your team and get the opportunity to deepen your own expertise in improving overall IT end user experience: 

• Change Management Support: Support change adaptation activities by assisting with rollout plans and ensuring users are ready for new developments and tools.

• Content Creation: Create user instructions, visual guides, and inspiring communication materials to support our projects and help users adopt new ways of working.

• Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance in Finnish and English on global settings to help users utilize our tools effectively.

• IT Communications: Assist with company-wide IT communications, including updating communication channels (e.g., Intranet, Google Sites) and improving the clarity of shared information.

• Collaboration and Networking: Work closely with colleagues in the Digital Workplace Solutions team and connect with various other teams and vendors to build your network with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring everyone is kept informed of your initiatives.
  
  

The best combination to succeed in this role

• You are currently studying or have studied Information Technology (IT) or a similar, relevant field

• Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

• A desire to learn and develop your skills in the IT domain

• Earlier work experience with Google Workspace tools (e.g. Sites, Slides), communication, and change management is considered an asset, but is not mandatory.

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging. 

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
