Summer Trainee, Digital Workplace Solutions

to our Shared IT Services and Platforms department in Espoo. We are a team of 8 professionals dedicated to empower all Neste employees and partners with the digital devices and tools they need for a smart and efficient collaboration.

Your role during the summer

You will support your team and get the opportunity to deepen your own expertise in improving overall IT end user experience, device management and SAP authorizations.  

Your role in our team as a Summer Trainee

• Be a key player during this summer: Gain valuable experience by supporting IT operations and ensuring our business runs smoothly during the summer holidays
• Provide exceptional end-user support: Assist employees with daily IT needs, such as facilitating a smooth execution of our laptop and mobile phone return and replacement policy, helping in troubleshooting software or hardware issues or helping with company wide IT communications and guidance   
• Get hands-on SAP experience: You'll be the go-to person for SAP GRC access control, ensuring everything runs smoothly while our experts take their well-deserved summer break 
• Team up with tech experts: Connect with different teams and vendors, building your network with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring everyone stays in the loop of the initiatives you’re involved in 

You will work closely with your colleagues from the Digital Workplace Solutions team as well as with service area vendors, IT Architects and business representatives to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions in this area.

The best combination to succeed in this role

• You are currently studying or have studied Information Technology (IT) or a similar, relevant field
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• A desire to learn and develop your skills in the IT domain 
• We also value earlier work experience in device management or SAP systems, but it is not mandatory

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. We work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging. 

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2300 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated in 2024. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2025.
