Summer trainee, MS IT 

to our Marketing and Services IT team in Espoo location. We are a team of nine professionals dedicated to ensuring the business continuity of our IT solutions, managing a smooth development portfolio, and planning future-proof IT solutions in close collaboration with the business.

Your role during the summer

You will support your team and get the opportunity to deepen your own expertise in IT Business Continuity, IT Master Data Management, IT Processes, and IT Documentation, while gaining experience in working together with various internal and external stakeholders.

As a Summer Trainee in MS IT, you will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening the foundations of our internal IT environment. Your responsibilities focus on ensuring the quality and accuracy of our system information and operational guidelines—specifically by managing master data within the Neste Now system and verifying that critical documentation, such as Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, remains current and comprehensive. Beyond these core areas, you will assist the team across a diverse range of daily IT operations and development initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with IT Product Owners and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure our IT solutions remain robust, reliable, and future-proof.

The best combination to succeed in this role

• You are currently studying or have studied Business Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science or a similar, relevant field.

• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English

• Motivation to learn and deepen your knowledge in how modern IT services and digital solutions enable the operations of a global business

• Some experience of working with data, technical writing, or using enterprise IT tools

• We also value earlier work experience in administrative IT, customer service, or project coordination but it is not mandatory

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging. 

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
