Summer trainee to our Neste Performance Improvement Program TMO (Transformation Management Office)
at Neste Headquarters, Espoo.
We are a team of 5 professionals dedicated to driving Neste’s success. Our core mission is to ensure Neste delivers the publicly promised 350 M€ EBITDA improvement by the end of 2026 through the Performance Improvement Program. The program was launched in the Capital Markets Update event in February 2025.
Your role during the summer
During the summer, you will gain overarching visibility into Neste’s business – from raw material sourcing to sales and build a foundational understanding of refinery economics and renewable energy industry.
You will play a supportive yet crucial role, getting hands-on experience in transformation management, specifically in areas like External Cost, Commercial Acceleration and Refinery Performance.
You will participate in the team's daily operations and strategic project management. Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage and analyze data related to initiatives and overall program performance

Prepare clear, high quality communication materials for various stakeholders

Contribute to effective internal communication, ensuring alignment across the organization

The best combination to succeed in this role:

You are currently studying (or have recently graduated) in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

While previous relevant work experience is a plus, it is not mandatory

Fluent in English (both written and verbal) is required. Other language skills are considered an asset

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data and information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences

A strong motivation to learn and immerse yourself in transformation management and strategic initiatives

Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., MS Excel, data visualization) is highly valued.

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging.
The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
