Summer trainee, Supply Chain Development

to our Supply Chain Development team in Espoo. We are a team of 16 professionals dedicated to drive the development of operative planning tools for OP and RP businesses. In addition to your own team, you will work closely with many different stakeholders in order to take our Excellence development work into action .

Your role during the summer

You will support your team and get the opportunity to deepen your own expertise in Supply Chain Development.

As a Summer Trainee,

• Support the development of the supply chain and refinery optimization tool (Aveva Unified Supply Chain) in collaboration with the team

• Provide essential support and problem-solving services to ensure business users can effectively utilize the tools

• Participate in the development and implementation of new digital solutions to enhance planning processes, innovate solutions for internal customers, and support business planners

The best combination to succeed in this role

• You are currently studying or have studied Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management or equivalent

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Motivation to learn and deepen your knowledge in the development of the supply chain and refinery optimization and simulation tools

• Excellent team work skills and positive attitude

• Ability to work in multi-tasking environment, but also to implement tasks systematically

• We also value earlier experience with simulation tools and/or process operations but it is not mandatory

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging.

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
