Summer trainee, Data Analyst

to our Data Platform team in Espoo location. We are a team of six (6) professionals dedicated to ensuring the company's data architecture, guidelines & patterns for projects and value adding data platform.

Your role during the summer

You will support our team and get the opportunity to deepen your own expertise in enabling data & AI in daily management.

Our Data Analyst Summer Trainee plays a key role in powering the growth of our Business Units and Functions through meaningful data insights.

As a Summer Trainee in this role, you’ll learn how to design and deliver intuitive analytical solutions, making the most of dashboards and visualizations to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights. You’ll gain hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) best practices but also data engineering (in tools like Data Build Tool & Agile Data Engine, no worries if not familiar we will guide you with these ones) and learn how to equip internal stakeholders with the tools and knowledge they need to drive both financial and strategic success.

Throughout the traineeship, you’ll be part of a collaborative team of experts from diverse areas, all dedicated to supporting your development and guiding you on your learning journey.

The best combination to succeed in this role

• You are currently studying or have studied Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics/Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or a similar

• Strong interest in analytics and genuine passion for data & AI

• Experience in using Power BI (or similar) technology

• Understanding of cloud computing and storage technologies

• Understanding of data modeling (e.g. dimensional) and SQL

• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English

• Motivation to learn and deepen your knowledge in modern platform tools & methodologies

• We also value earlier work experience in data engineering but it is not mandatory

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging.

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
