We are looking for you,
Supply Development Specialist
to join our Renewable Products Supply Excellence team in Espoo, Finland.
The team is responsible for the development of tools, processes and capabilities related to renewable feedstock supply with a short to medium term time focus. Our team of energetic and professional specialists works in a tight collaboration with our regional supply & trading teams in APAC, EMEA and Americas.
We have an innovative and dynamic team of highly skilled experts working in the Renewable Products Supply & Trading function. Our team is responsible for ensuring timely and sufficient supply of sustainable, renewable feedstocks to our refineries. We work in close collaboration with our feedstock suppliers spread across multiple continents as well as a wide group of internal stakeholders participating in the key supply processes such as Logistics & Operations, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability and Group Treasury.
We have ambitious targets to grow our renewable feedstocks’ volume potential in the coming years with a specific focus on waste and residue materials. To achieve this we need both new, innovative ways of working as well as refinement of our current processes and tools to increase efficiency in managing our supply processes, supplier management practices and competitive intelligence, to name a few.

Your role in creating a sustainable future
- Identify development opportunities and drive improvements in our key supply processes while practising constant monitoring to ensure solid performance
- Actively develop our feedstock volumes and prices forecasting and planning process within the team and in collaboration with the key stakeholders such as Supply Chain Management and Sales
- Monitor the performance of the forecasting and planning process and identify improvement opportunities to be fed into the development pipeline
- Develop our practices regarding feedstock volumes management - e.g. inventory management, tank planning and trading volumes coordination
- Act as a point of contact in Supply & Trading on feedstock strategy reporting and competitive intelligence
- Participate in key global development projects regarding feedstock supply and suppliers and gather inputs from the Supply team and suppliers to be utilised for ensuring successful implementation
You will work closely with our key internal stakeholders as well as occasionally with our feedstock suppliers to strengthen our abilities to meet our growth targets and successfully execute our supply strategy. You will report to the Head of Supply Excellence located in Espoo, Finland.
The best combination to succeed in this role
- A Master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s, at minimum, within Business Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Social Sciences or related field
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience from Sourcing or Sales related positions, preferably within commodities, is considered as an advantage, as well as supplier/customer management
- Experience from business development, process development and stakeholder management as well as supply chain management are considered valuable
- Fluent English skills, both written and verbal, are required in this position. Other languages are seen as a plus.
- Capability to use and harness a variety of systems for data input, day-to-day business and operations management and reporting purposes is considered beneficial. Such systems can include for instance ERP systems, CRM/SRM systems, trading software and data visualisation tools such as PowerBI
