Expert in Sustainability Assessment

to our Sustainability Assessment team in Espoo, Finland.
Sustainability Assessment team is part of our global Sustainability unit who is responsible for making Neste a leader in the field of sustainability.

In this role, you will be instrumental in providing and developing science-based sustainability expertise, directly supporting Neste's strategic goals. You'll work closely with the entire sustainability unit, and also partner with production, supply, and sales teams linked with the sustainability of our product value chain.

Your role in our team

• Ensure Product Compliance: Execute Life cycle Assessment (LCA) and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations for market compliance and product sales

• Drive Expertise Development: Act as a key contributor in developing renewable energy and raw material sustainability assessment expertise.

• Uphold Neste's Credibility: Guarantee Neste’s sustainability credibility through meticulous mandatory sustainability and GHG reporting.

• Analyze Policy and Regulation: Research and analyze policies and regulations relevant to sustainability assessment aspects

What we are looking for

• M.Sc or M.Eng in suitable area

• More than 7 years of experience in: 

  • Life Cycle Assessment / Greenhouse gas calculations
    or

  • Biofuel or renewable energy industries in sustainability related roles

• Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset
