Treasury Controller

 

Our Treasury Operations and Accounting team in Espoo is looking for a Treasury Controller. We have an energized and collaborative team of treasury experts working with liquidity management, payments, financial transaction back office and accounting & reporting tasks. Our work combines understanding of treasury processes, accounting and reporting with accuracy and desire to develop.

Your role in our team

 

  • Data-Driven Reporting: Transform treasury data into reports, ensuring high data integrity and visibility for all stakeholders.

  • Data Development: Lead initiatives to modernize and automate data collection, reducing manual entry and improving the speed of financial insights.

  • System Administration: Act as the lead Quantum (TMS) Administrator, overseeing system integrity, user access, and the seamless integration of market data management.

  • Liquidity Optimization: Develop and refine short-term liquidity forecasts.

  • Operational Excellence: Act as a substitute in daily operative tasks as required e.g. during peak periods or staff absences.

  • Market Data management for foreign currency, interest rate and commodity pricing related data feeds. 

 

We work with versatile treasury related tasks closely with other Treasury and Risk Management teams, Global Finance organisation, banks and auditors to ensure efficient and accurate treasury back office operations. The job can be tailored to some extent based on the candidate’s competence. You will report to the Head of Treasury Operations and Accounting.

Keys to success in this role

 

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with experience in a corporate treasury or banking environment.

  • Experience in treasury system (e.g. Quantum) and SAP, strong skills in Excel, programming skills a benefit

  • Analytical mindset with a proactive, reliable approach under pressure and willingness to learn

  • Experience with liquidity forecasting or management of FX positions is a significant plus.

  • Precise, analytical and efficient way of working also under pressure

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to develop

  • Good communication and collaboration skills in English
