Job Title: Site Operator

Reports To: Site Manager

Location: Hector, Minnesota

Department: Logistics and Operations

In your role, you will be responsible for:

• Loading and unloading products into railcars from truck trailers
• Positioning rail cars on tracks for proper loading and unloading
• Sealing rail cars for shipment
• Site maintenance, including safety equipment
• Minor equipment repair as well as transferring equipment for off-site repairs
• Safely following Standard Operating Procedures
• Performing the work in accordance with safety protocols
• Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrating excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Exhibiting excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Showcasing strong problem-solving skills
• Prioritizing tasks effectively
• Functioning well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Conducting simple administrative tasks
• Possessing a valid Class A Driver’s License

The best combination of experience, skills, and background are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of related experience required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Good sense of balance and the ability to maintain 3 points of contact
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to work in tight spaces when loading vehicles
• Ability to work at heights approximately 15 feet above the ground
• Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds at times
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
