Country Controller
to our regional Finance team in The Netherlands.

Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future

Coordinate and execute monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings;

Report and act as the right hand of the Finance Manager;

Implement process and system changes needed due to local statutory and regulatory requirements;

Proactively identify opportunities for automation and digitalization;

Facilitate and assist internal cross-functional teams regarding local regional topics;

Coordinate shared service center department in period-end closing tasks;

Prepare local regulatory reporting;

Support business with ad-hoc reports and inquiries;

Execute and coordinate local financial audits;

Act as a partner for local management on statutory financial topics.
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role

Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years experience in financial control.

Understanding of IFRS and local GAAP;

Understanding of the local statutory and regulatory requirements;

Good understanding of Finance end to end processes and relevant technologies e.g., SAP (FI-CO, SD, MM), SAP Business Objects, Hyperion Planning;

Database and reporting systems know-how is also seen as asset;

Fluent written and spoken in English, Dutch preferred;

You are a self starter, with a strong hands on and proactive mentality. You take ownership, you are resilient and you have a safety-oriented mindset.

Domestic travelling to the different sites;
