 Business Development Analyst / Senior Business Development Analyst


 to join our global Renewable Road Transportation Strategy Deployment team and be based in Houston, Texas.

In this key role you get to support and coordinate some of our major strategy and business development projects to ensure we maximize value creation from our most important business opportunities for the Renewable Road Transportation (RRT) business unit both in the Americas and globally.

 

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Support and coordinate Americas Region Sales Strategy development and deployment in cooperation with other key stakeholders across the organization
  • Support Americas Sales organization in recognizing business opportunities and turning them into actionable development or deployment projects
  • Support and coordinate strategy deployment and business development projects (e.g. Offering development, Customer Experience development, Digital development)
  • Actively communicate and drive clarity of your initiatives across the Neste organization on different levels to ensure engagement and buy-in
  • Enable knowledge and best practices sharing with other RRT Sales Regions
  • Support and drive continuous improvement in business processes and ways of working

 
You will work closely with various roles and teams both in North America and globally. Besides the global Strategy Deployment Team, your key stakeholder group will be the Americas Sales Team, which is a small yet highly professional and capable team of experts responsible for continuing the growth of our sales in the Americas region as well as driving continuous improvement to better our financial result and customer satisfaction. Keys to success in this role
 
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is 
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, communication or related fields, or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in some aspects of business development, strategy development and/or strategy deployment from e.g. management consulting, investment banking, private equity, start-up or a relevant corporate function
  • Proven experience in project work preferably for large, complex business model design and/or implementation
  • Proven written and verbal communications skills, interpersonal skills and customer service, and ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Flexible to work across internal and external parties in an integrated team environment 
  • Exceptional organization skills with ability both to manage timelines and to be flexible to changing circumstances and needs
  • Ability to anticipate issues and resolve ahead of time before they drive delay
  • Analytically adept and proficient in key tools (e.g. MS Excel, Google tools) and able to develop, review, or even guide quantitative and qualitative analysis to assist with decision making issues
  • Passion and ability to effectively influence contribution and participation from other managers/staff without direct reporting relationship
  • Able to represent Neste, the product and the strategic offer effectively when tested with external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English
