We are looking for you,
Business Development Manager
to join our Renewables Platform Development team. This team drives and implements Neste strategic initiatives, identifies and evaluates new business opportunities as well as supports business units and functions to drive operational excellence.
We are now looking for a Business Development Manager who has a passion for developing sustainable businesses and drive for project management excellence. You will be in the front row of our journey in a fast moving and rapidly growing business.

Your role in our team will be to
- Participate in a wide range of strategic business development projects as a project lead, leading PMO's for challenging projects and having varying content scope and responsibilities according to the case in question
- Lead post-merger integrations, managing integration execution and facilitating cross-functional collaboration
- Identify and implement business development opportunities and actively contribute in improving project management practices
- Drive project excellence change management and behavioral change in Neste Renewables business
Your role as a member of the RP Center of Excellence team within Renewables Platform Development function is to lead and support the implementation of strategic initiatives and projects. In addition, you will identify and drive, together with the team, the evaluation and establishment of new business opportunities. You will be collaborating closely with key stakeholders relevant to business strategy implementation, and you will also actively participate in cross-functional networks.You will report to the Head of Center of Excellence, Espoo.
The best combination to succeed in this role
- Master of Science level degree in Business, Technical or similar
- Minimum of four years’ work experience from business or operational development or consulting with an emphasis of capturing value with in-depth process analysis and change management within a cross-functional organization
- Strong track record of fact-based analysis, project management and successful project delivery, and interest towards understanding the business fundamentals, including the ability to create business case calculations to support argumentation
- Strong communication skills with ability to gain trust and mandate from senior managers by showing strategic thinking and understanding of the bigger picture as well as the details
- Ability to lead, influence and interact in a positive and collaborative manner in a global matrix organization with cultural awareness, passionate, performance-driven and customer-oriented attitude
- High motivation to get things done and a passion to capture and create value, and flexibility to take various types of projects and tasks when needed
- Fluent English skills are a must, both written and oral, other language skills are a merit
- You get to work in a global role that covers all our markets, and although this position is based in Houston, preparedness to travel and work with multicultural teams is essential

- Experience from M&A or post-merger integration is valued
