Manager, Strategy Execution

 

to join our Strategy Execution and Portfolio Management team. This team drives and implements Neste strategic initiatives, identifies and evaluates new business opportunities and drives to ensure the execution of our strategy. 

 

In our team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting strategic initiatives and projects within the Strategy Execution and Portfolio Management team of the Feedstock & Asset Development function. Together with your expertise, we can make an impact today and keep our promises for tomorrow.

 

You will focus on developing sustainable businesses and driving project management excellence. In this job, you will work closely with key stakeholders to implement business strategies and participate in cross-functional networks. You will report to the Head of Strategy Execution and Portfolio Management in Espoo, Finland.

Your role in our team will be to

 

  • Participate in a wide range of strategic business development projects as a project lead, leading PMO's for challenging projects and having varying content scope and responsibilities according to the case in question

  • Identify and implement business development opportunities and actively contribute in improving project management practices

  • Drive project excellence change management and behavioral change in our function

 

 

The best combination to succeed in this role

 

  • Master of Science level degree in Business, Technical or similar

  • Minimum of four years’ work experience from business or operational development or consulting with an emphasis of capturing value with in-depth process analysis and change management within a cross-functional organization

  • Strong track record of fact-based analysis, project management and successful project delivery, and interest towards understanding the business fundamentals, including the ability to create business case calculations to support argumentation

  • Strong communication skills with ability to gain trust and mandate from senior managers by showing strategic thinking and understanding of the bigger picture as well as the details

  • Ability to lead, influence and interact in a positive and collaborative manner in a global matrix organization with cultural awareness, passionate, performance-driven and customer-oriented attitude

  • High motivation to get things done and a passion to capture and create value, and flexibility to take various types of projects and tasks when needed

  • Fluent English skills are a must, both written and oral, other language skills are a merit

  • You get to work in a global role that covers all our markets, and although this position is based in Houston, preparedness to travel and work with multicultural teams is essential
