Neste’s regional headquarters in North America is in Houston, Texas and the company employs more than 500 people across the US.


In March of 2022, Neste signed definitive agreements for the establishment of a 50/50 joint venture (Martinez Renewable Fuels) with US-based Marathon Petroleum.  The joint venture will produce renewable diesel from Marathon’s refinery in Martinez, California.  Through this joint venture Neste obtains a 50% interest in the Martinez Renewable Fuels once regulatory approvals are completed.


We are looking for a Regional E2E Process Expert, US to join the US Team.  This role is based in Houston, Texas.


Job Summary:

Owns the End to End process (Supply to Pay, Order to Cash and Manage Logistics) that she/he is responsible for on a regional level and aligns and develops local processes according to the global process model, but respecting local needs. Represents region in global process forums and is point of contact to Global L2 owner. Support region line organization in Daily Management and promotes and supports continual improvement.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Local key contact for global L2 process owners
  • Drive and coordinate actively local process improvements and changes for current and future business streams aligned globally
  • Work as a PMO for process improvement initiatives (Excellence tool): Consolidate  process related ideas locally to initiative backlog and monitor Improvement process executed by region
  • Escalate initiative according to process governance model
  • Provide process SME input 
  • Observe process to ensure compliance with Neste templates, instructions and processes locally
  • Support and monitor daily management activities  led by Region  line organization (dashboard, review, root cause analysis, corrective action)
  • Responsible to lead local process governance and common forums 
  • Participate as a region representative  in global level governance and forums
  • Promote best practices, share lessons learned and participate in benchmarking activities between Regions
  • Promote continual improvement, process thinking and data based decision making


Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Overall understanding of the End-to-End Operations flow or/and Supply to Pay, Order to Cash, Manage Logistics processes 
  • Ability to promote and enable daily management and continual improvement
  • Incident & issue management and problem solving skills
  • Fluent ICT skills and experience in integrated ERP systems
  • Experience in change management and influencing in multi-stakeholder organizations
  • Ability to work under pressure, capability to manage own workload, prioritize work activities and work independently
  • Team player attitude and willingness to grow with the position
  • Willingness to learn new skills and competencies on a continuous basis


Education & Experience:

  • Experience and knowledge about common business process development principles
  • Experience in working with Agile development methods, or Lean Six Sigma tools & methodologies is considered as an advantage
  • Proven track record of successfully developing  and implementing business and/or business process projects in a complex business environment.
  • B.Sc or M.Sc in technology, engineering, economics or a related discipline
