We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Renewable Road Transportation Americas Sales team. The role is based in Houston, Texas and will report to VP RRT Americas.

The main purpose for the role is to support regional sales to deliver best workplace productivity for the RRT Americas Sales team with internal stakeholders and external clients. You work closely with each sales team (channel partner business, wholesale and trading, and market development) and hold supporting co-pilot roles for the sales managers. You are the go-to person for development initiatives and projects related effort in the region.

You are closely connected to internal stakeholders like Strategy, Operation, Business Development, Pricing, Finance, Supply Chain, Public Affairs and Marketing departments and sales teams from overseas. We have a highly professional and capable team of experts working in the RRT Americas Sales Team. Your main responsibilities include
 

  • Explore development opportunities for Branded Sales initiatives and support Channel Partner sales as assigned by the management. Provide Data Driven Marketing assistance
  • Provide sales support and key (prospecting) account assistance to ensure best customer experience and ensure business continuity when the primary account managers are unavailable
  • Take in charge of developing and updating sales materials as needed
  • Participate in regional growth initiatives, follow up and track their development with functions
  • Lead or provide project management for commercial projects, serve as the voice of the business to various stakeholders in projects and ensure regional priorities are delivered via assigned projects and initiatives
  • Conduct data analysis when needed and prepare necessary report and/or presentations.
  • Sales documentation management and archiving. Coordination of sales contracts, agreements and other documents to strict timelines
  • Manage all internal & external sales events, workshops and conferences and own the regional sales team activity calendar to ensure no conflicts nor oversights of key events
  • Develop and implement new work practices. Constantly explore continuous development of resource optimization, and better ways of working.
  • Strive for increased group value by collaborating with the extended sales teams within RRT, Nordic Sales, and Sales Europe/APAC
  • Work with functions to resolve sales operation issues and complaints
  • Work on other ad-hoc projects as assigned by the line manager

 

Keys to success in this role
 
The best combination of experiences, skills and background Is
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing or relevant fields and 2 years of B2B commercial experience to successfully network, interact, persuade at a multitude of audiences
  • Experiences and/or knowledge in project management, event management, and dispatch/truck logistics highly preferred
  • Holistic mindset , always acting for the benefit of the group
  • Ability to take leading roles in Business/Development Projects.Excellent time management and goal oriented. 
  • Demonstrated ability in successful leading projects and delivering goals under tight schedules.  
  • Good knowledge of the North American renewable industry, knowledge of other Central & Latin American fuel markets a plus
  • Curious of exploring improvement opportunities and challenge the status quo
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English, negotiation, presenting, interpersonal, networking and deal development skills with a wide variety of audiences. Proficiency in Google, MS and Salesforce
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of time
