We are looking for a Senior IT Product Manager - Logistics & Supply for Solution Development to join our IT Business applications team in our Houston office.  This position supports the Supply Chain and Logistics applications.

In March of 2022, Neste signed definitive agreements for the establishment of a 50/50 joint venture (Martinez Renewable Fuels) with US-based Marathon Petroleum.  The joint venture will produce renewable diesel from Marathon’s refinery in Martinez, California.  Through this joint venture Neste obtains a 50% interest in the Martinez Renewable Fuels.

 

Job Summary:

In your role, you will:

  • Own end-to-end responsibility for the development and maintenance activities of the named IT solutions and products at the American region
  • Lead IT development projects and / or delivery streams with your global team
  • Manage the vendor co-operation 
  • Drive roadmap planning for the named solutions together with business teams  
  • Ensure wise use of budget and delivery resources based on business priorities  

 

In this hands-on role, you will define work-plans, coordinate design, development, testing and deployment activities, report status and work in close co-operation with business stakeholders, key users, Neste IT community and IT suppliers. You can also participate in larger development projects as a technical subject matter expert or stream lead.

 

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, e.g. as a Product Manager/Solution Manager
  • Demonstrated success defining/developing excellent products
  • Background in and knowledge of relevant Logistics processes, especially in US area
  • Project management and agile development experience
  • Experience in project management and project work in multi-site and multi-vendor environment
  • Background in solution architecture
  • Target oriented, proactive and systematic way of working 
  • Good communication and cooperation skills 
  • Willingness to continuous learning and ability to adapt in changing situations
  • Good written and oral/presentation skills
  • Masters or relevant working experience
