We are looking for you, Senior Specialist, Sourcing Development, to our Feedstock Sourcing & Trading, North America  organization. The location for the role is in Houston,TX.

You will focus on the North America feedstock sourcing & trading development, ensuring region-specific efficiency and compliance while maintaining global alignment with common practices. 

You will also engage in commercial activities and analysis related to land operations and origination.  In this role, you will work closely with Regional Sourcing & Trading teams, Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Operations, Finance, IT, Strategy,  and Global Market Compliance and Sustainability as well as external partners, suppliers,  tool development vendors.

In this role, you will be our US-based link to the Global Sourcing Growth & Excellence (SG&E) team to ensure alignment on practices.

Your role in our team

• Drive Americas Initiatives: Actively identify, concretize, drive forward and implement strategic & tactical initiatives in the Americas Sourcing & Trading portfolio, including building business cases for decision-making and providing analytical insights.

• Support and Alignment: Support Sourcing Managers on process and tools matters, liaising with the global SG&E department to ensure alignment (e.g. Newbos, SSP, SAP, Allegro ). Collaborate closely with stakeholders in both Houston and Hutchinson

• Commercial Analysis & Engagement: Support trading and origination teams on specific commercial initiatives to enable profitable growth and smooth execution. Contribute to decision making by running business cases and analysis and helping to build and shape NAM feedstock strategy.

• Global Representation & Compliance: Represent Sourcing & Trading globally on selected initiatives. Duties may also include planning and implementation of regulatory changes concerning renewable fuels’ feedstock supply chains and ensuring compliance in operative processes.

Keys to success in this role

• Degree in a suitable field such as Business, Industrial Engineering, or similar years of relevant experience

• Proven experience in business processes, data & analytics, and renewables feedstock business.

• Ability to turn complex business cases into economic evaluation 

• Knowledge of feedstocks and end product markets and related regulations.

• Proven experience of project management and strong organizational skills.

• Excellent skills in either Office and/or Google tools (e.g. spreadsheets and slides)

• Strong capabilities in stakeholder engagement and influencing.
